The Joy of Worship
What stirs your heart to burst and your face to smile during worship?
One of my favorites is the sound of young children singing praises loudly and unabashedly to their Father and King. Can you hear it?
This past Sunday, a little boy in our church joined the congregational singing with gusto and innocent joy. I couldn't help but grin and sing a little harmony along with him and everyone else. Oh, to have such child-like faith and delight!
Sing 2025: From Generation to Generation
Over the years, God has not only nourished our own souls through music but also seems to be opening doors for further music-related ministry opportunities.
Back in September, Ben was invited to attend the SING conference in Nashville, TN that is hosted by Keith and Kristen Getty. He has been involved in various meetings of their foundation since 2022. At SING, his role was 2-fold.
First, he met with others in the Getty Foundation, including people from around the world who are translating Getty hymns into many different languages. As a result of this time together, the Getty Music Foundation asked Ben to be their translation team leader for Thailand. This involves gathering a team of Thai people to work on translating their hymns into the Thai language.
Second, he and others represented Serge at an exhibitors table, where he was able to promote Serge as well as his B4T business.
Praise God with us for these ministry and networking opportunities and that much fruit will come to bear from it in the months and years to come.
